The Swedish tax agency is blogging
If you did’nt know I work at the Swedish tax agency (like US IRS). It’s really a great place to work at, great collegues and a really creative working enviroment. Taxes sounds boring (and it is) but working with the web is really nice. Right now I’m in a project where we are looking at our two websites, Skatteverket and Kronofogden. It’s a a project where we look at what goals the sites should have, personas, usability testing, cardsorting and such.
We also have a project blog where we write about the findings and what is going on in the project, this is one of the first blogs in the government sphere in Sweden. We thought about having this blog so people and users could responds to our findings and just to have a dialoge with our users. So if you know Swedish, come over to the blog and comment as much as you can. If you don’t know Swedish and just want to know more about this or tell me if there is any similar blogs around the globe, just leave a comment in this post.

When I read the word “findings” I automaticly think of archaeology (a difficult word me thinks) and then began thinking you were finding sceletons in some long-forgotten office somewhere in a building. Oh well…
But to the subject… I think it is really great if a dialoge can be established. Users are quite useful (no pun intended) when it comes to getting input you ought to know. ^^ Well, it got me interested so I should check by sometime.
Taxes are great by the way. ^^
PS. I really like writing in a textbox with a laaaaarge and nice font. It feels smooth. :3

Thanks for the comment, yeah, you might be correct about the “findings”, IŽll see what I can do.
Please come by and and check it out after the vacation when we are back. Input from users are really valuable, to bad that we do not have that many comments that we where hoping for. Hopefully this will change when we can present something more non abstract.
