If you love photo like me this will really blow your mind. Microsoft has recently released their new web based photo “viewer”. Rigth now you need IE 6+ to see it, it’s an Active X something. Still it´s really worth checking out.

It is a really cool set of technology used for this application. Previously, they had posted a java-based demo, which worked also in other browsers. Seems to have been removed not. It was slow, and not as fancy though.
If you are “nerdy” enough you may enjoy to listen to one of the developers describing some of the techniques and technology used behind the scences.
Hmm. The link seems to loose its underscore character. Put one between the words Blaise and Photoshynth, as well as between the words Photosynth and MBR. Then it should be working…
