It is amazing how much spam Akismet stops. Great that Wordpress (which I use) uses the service. The plugin has now stopped roughly 800 spams on my site since I installed version two of Wordpress.

Has it caught everything? I haven’t tried Akismet because Spam Karma2 has caught everything since I installed it. Seldomly it leaves one for me to check manually and I can’t even figure out if it’s spam or not.
Yes, since i wrote this post there has really been “waves” of spam, all caught by Akismet, the number is now 3429. Amazing
