The switch
This weekend I made the switch. Instead of Windows XP I am now on a linux distribution called Ubuntu. Still fixing and trixing to get everything the way I want. I will still keep Windows on another partition so I can dual boot if I miss something. Hopefully everything will go fine.
I might ask why?
- I like the idea of free and open source software development
- Will always be free of charge
- Includes more than 16,000 pieces of software
- Great support
- Easy updating and upgrading (apt-get)
- Secure (based on Debian)
