Trendmapper

Here is cool way of looking at trends on the big search engines. Here is an example, Web standards.

Trendmapper contains a list of search phrases and will do a daily search for all of them. The amount of hits are recorded, and a chart is made on basis of the data that is collected.

Aftonbladet gone tableless

I just noticed that one of Sweden largest media site, Aftonbladet has gone tableless, not sure really when they did this as I do not visit this site that often. Kind of cool though that they have made the switch. Edit: A developer at Aftonbladet informed me that the change was started last fall and was made public around Christmas.

Looking for good broadband ISP in Sweden. You might check out Ownit. Their selling 10Mbit for 150 SEK with posibility to upgrade to 100Mbit. They also are selling ADSL2 (8 or 28Mbit) connection for 339 SEK. Note: The site is Flash only. I thought these dinasours had been distinguished from the www. :D

IE min-width & position: fixed

You all probably know about IE problems with min-width and position: fixed. IE doesn’t get it at all which is a really bummer. I found a site that describes how to work around these problems. The site also have a lot of other nice CSS tips & tricks, go and check it out. (via)

London bombing

Please take a few moments to pay respect to the victims and the families who are affected by the tradegy in London. It’s a shame. It really is.
