Finally my vacation has arrived, now I’m off work for three weeks. Going up north to meet my parents and relatives. Hopefully the web will still be alive when I come back. Hey don’t do anything I wouldn’t do

I installed Bad behaviour yesterday. Already 36 attempts in 24hrs. Amazing. Edit: After 3 weeks the filter have stopped about 500 attempts.

The progress is looking very interesting.

Found this via Photo Matt. Alexa.com traffic image generator. Cool stuff if you like graphs and statistics. Just add a few of your sites or some other large sites that generates a lot of traffic. I´ve made a comparison with a few large web standard blogs and sites.

To change the sites change the URL in the browser.

* w= width of image
* h= height of image
* r= years
* y = ?
* u = website to graph

Just noted this old entry at W3C. This is really what is needed for typographic nerds on the web. I have always wondered when the web would get the same typographic control as other media. Of course this is not like the control in InDesign or Illustrator but it’s a beginning.

CSS3 Text Effects Module

The CSS Working Group has released a Working Draft of the CSS3 Text Effects Module. The draft addresses white space, line breaks, word boundaries, text wrapping, alignment, justification and spacing.
