The Acid2 testcase is now up. Have a look at it over at webstandards.org. I have now only looked at it with IE 6 and it really shows that MS has a long way to go. Hopefully they will work closely with webstandards.org when they now have start working on IE 7.
Every browser I’ve tested on OSX is long way from the predicted result.
I’ve tested it on Firefox, Camino and Safari.
I’ve wonder wich browsers the test do work on.
Yeah, it would be nice to know what browser they used to get the screendump of the “correct” happy face, tried it with IE6, OP 7.5 and FF 1 and they all fail, some more, some less.
As they say in their press release, this test is not only for IE, but also for all other developers making browsers. Hoppefully all will gain from this in the end.
