GeoURL
Geourl is a way of locating a website in a more physical way. It is a way of showing where the webiste is situated in the world. For example my site is situated in Stockholm Sweden. So how do you set the location of your adress? It is really easy, just add your cordinates in the head of your HTML code. To find out the cordinates for your site you first go to Heavens above, select your country and then your city. You will then get the cordinates (longitude and latitude) for your site.
There is then geourl services which collects this data. There are two ones, GeoURL, now in version 2 (now listed 135 thousand sites) and then GeoURL re-loaded both doing quite the same thing. By adding your site or cordinates to the services you can then see what other sites are close to your own. In the future we might also see other nice fetures. (via)
