Update 4: The duplicate isssue has been fixed now, It was that I kept the old posts with the same title and post slug. That made WP believe that there where two posts. When I removed the posts the duplicates disapeared. I have also removed my quickies on the frontpage. I will add them later on but instead of using links I will have a category called quickies. This will be easier to maintain I believe.
Update 3: Having some problems with the pages (links, archive and about), they keep showing up twice. Will see if I can get it to work.
Update 2: Updated the site to use the new ‘Permalink Structure’. Instead of using the URL variable for showing pages I now have a more user friendly way (/2005/02/14/browser-speed-comparisons/).
Update 1: Have started to move all my non articles to the new pages which is new for 1.5. Have also transfered my whole site it uses the template system. I can now change the whole site design in one click including the the sIFR headings I am using. I had some problems to get the print style to work in the beginning but now it works fine.
Also added the usual plugins that I have used in 1.2. All worked fine except the related posts plugin. Will wait with that one until they have fixed it for 1.5. Also added a new one that only works in 1.5. It’s statistics plugin working in the admin area. Nice to get some statistics, I am already using Awstats which is for more in depth statistics. I also found a new photo gallery plugin that should work for WordPress that I will try out. The solution I use today is not very good, a export function from Photoshop album.
I am updating my blog from 1.2 to 1.5 so you might see some strange things the upcoming days. Hopefully everything will go smoothly.
