What do Screen Readers really say?

What does really a screen reader say? Is display: none really working as you think? Have a ‘hearing’ over at this test suite. (via)

Note: You need a screen reader to try this out, like JAWS, or FF extension Foxy voice.

The hope is that visitors who are using modern browsers with CSS enabled will not see the Skip navigation link, and that visitors using screen readers will hear it.
