Great Firefox extensions

Here are great Firefox extensions that I use daily or so.

If you have any other great ones for web developers, please let me know.

Web developer

Amazing extension when web developing. Can do everything from checking alt texts, validating, showing topography and resizing the window. Great support and one of the best plug ins out there.

Sage

Great RSS reader extension for Firefox. Using this daily to keep up with all the blogs. Easy to use and small footprint.

Fangs

Great one for checking out how a screen reader would “see” a web page. Still no aural, links and heading support, hopefully even better in the future. Is an option not having JAWS.

Foxy voice

An extension that reads the page. This extension can together with Fangs do quite a good job of showing how it is for an blind person. You can read more about Foxy voice and Fangs here

IE View

If using Firefox as the default web browser sometimes the web page breaks because of bad support. Just right click the page or link and choose “View page in IE”.

Spellbound

Spelling support for Firefox, great for guy like me that do not have English as my first language. Now i can spell check everything I input in a web page, for example when typing in Wordpress.
