Art, Music and propaganda

I?ve been at some nice exhibition and concerts that I can tell you little about. First at ?stasiatiska (East Asian) museum there is now an exhibition about Manga (Swedish), nice collection with different aspects of this asian artform. The exhibition is free of charge, which is great, it will continue until January. Next the exhibition is over at Kulturhuset, it shows propaganda posters from China, really great ones with a lot of smiling children holding guns. Kind of strange I must say but great design inspiration. This exhibition is also free of charge. Last I would like to recommend a concert, Slipknot and Slayer are touring Europe. I was at the concert last evening and it was great. There were a lot of people in leather and masks. The sound was awesome, you could really feel the nose-hair moving. I am not a big hard rocker I must say, I am more of a Hip-hop / Soul person but sometimes it is kind nice to listen to something else. Both bands were great, Slipknot started at nine and kept on for an hour, then Slayer got to play for about an hour, only strange that Slayer did not play any extra songs.

Hmmm, who would have guessed that our clean-cut friend, Jens, would turn in to a slipknot fan, and I always thought of him as a Public Enemy kind of guy ;-), hehehe. That is cool - I have seen their videos and I have to say, their music does rock!
